Strawberry Banana Green Smoothie

Getting your daily servings of vegetables can be challenging. Especially, if greens are just not your thing! The fastest and tastiest way to get those servings in are in a smoothie.  Fruits mask the taste of most vegetables, so you enjoy the benefits without sacrificing taste. They’re also a great breakfast option for those of us on-the-go. This smoothie recipe is full of: vitamins, minerals, and tons of fruit to sweeten it up.

Strawberry Banana Green Smoothie

  1. 1 cup spinach
  2. 1 cup kale
  3. 1 ripe banana
  4. 1 cup frozen strawberries
  5. 2 pitted dates (or sweetener of choice)
  6. 1 cup coconut water (or regular water)
  7. ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  8. Protein powder (optional)

Directions

  1. In a high speed blender, add in your liquid first and then add in the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
