The New Oceanside Health Center
NCHS has constructed a 12,000 square-foot community health center in Oceanside’s Loma Alta neighborhood to replace our Oceanside Carlsbad Health Center. The health center opened in July, 2009 and houses 22 exam rooms, isolation and treatment rooms, conference and educational rooms, and sufficient administrative and waiting area space, increasing services and building in a capability that we can almost double. In five years we expect to almost double the number of patients served in this community.
North County Health Services’ capital campaign for the new Oceanside Health Center continues to receive generous support from the community. Completion of a successful capital campaign will strengthen NCHS’ capacity to serve those with low resources to prevent delays in care which can lead to more costly treatment at out patient or in patient facility.
