Nicole Esposito

Nicole Esposito, MD, recently joined NCHS. As a dual trained provider, she has a special interest in participating in programs which expand upon traditional healthcare models to better accommodate patients who have both mental health and chronic medical needs. She also has an interest in treating severe psychiatric illness in women during and after pregnancy. “In treating my patients, I find it most important to identify their barriers to accessing care, their strengths, and their own healthcare priorities,” she said.
Dr. Esposito received her training in Family Medicine and Psychiatry from the University of Toledo, College of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine and Psychiatry at UCSD.
Nicole and her husband have been in Southern California since 2003 and are both excited to be a part of the San Diego medical community. They are expecting their first child in January. She enjoys spending her free time running, playing soccer and gardening.
