Tasha Taylor
M.D.
"Preventative medicine is key to a child developing long-term habits in sync with health and well-being, but continuity of care with a physician who cares is also very important."
Dr. Tasha Taylor is a board-certified pediatrician at North County Health Services. She graduated from medical school at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY, and completed her internship and residency at the University of Washington, in Seattle, WA. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Taylor became a pediatrician because she loves providing guidance and care to children as they develop and grow. She specializes in preventative medicine, childhood obesity prevention and treatment, and minor surgical procedures including ingrown toenail removal, suturing, and circumcision. She came to work at North County Health Services because she believes in the mission of providing quality health care that is comprehensive, affordable and culturally sensitive. Dr. Taylor is also fluent in Spanish and has a large Hispanic patient population.
In her spare time, Dr. Taylor volunteers with Doctors of the World, primarily in Chiapas, Mexico. She has a strong interest in international medicine, but also takes time to play squash and further develop her interest in photography.
