Project Parenting

Project Summary

Project Parenting promotes positive parenting techniques by encouraging parents to establish and maintain open and constructive communication with their children and other�s involved in caring for their child(ren).

Parent Educators provide 6 session classes for parents and offer interactive child play, enabling parents to bring their children with them. Classes cover subject material related to:

� Positive Discipline
� Communication
� Teaching parents how to nurture themselves
� Setting limits & establishing boundaries

Parents are encouraged to develop lasting networks with other parents to decrease any isolation and increase and maintain established community connections. Classes are offered on an on-going basis and are available in English and Spanish.

Target Audience

Anyone involved in caring for a child between the ages of 0-5 is welcome to attend.
