Alicia Santos
Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operations Officer at North County Health Services (NCHS), Alicia Santos provides direct administrative oversight and supervision of nine clinic sites and corporate operations. Alicia moved into this position after having been the Coastal Regional Administrator for NCHS where she oversaw operations for all six coastal clinics. Alicia was one of the key players in preparing for our original JCAHO accreditation in 2000, and continues to work with the Quality Administrator in assuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as meeting the high standards required for JCAHO accreditation.
Alicia received her BA in Biology from UCSD, and has also received the UCSD certificate for Leadership Excellence, as well as attended the UCLA Anderson School of Business where she received a certificate in Leadership Excellence for Healthcare Executives.
With over 25 years of service in the healthcare field, Alicia understands the barriers that the uninsured and underinsured must confront and believes that the community health centers play a pivotal role in assuring that this population receives not only healthcare, but good quality healthcare that is affordable.
