Pediatric Medicine

NCHS is proud to provide comprehensive health services to children. Almost half of the patients seen at our health centers are children (0-18 years). Our annual fund raising campaign has been dedicated to closing the gap in the cost of providing services to this vulnerable population.

NCHS provides:

• Acute Care (example: ear infections)
• Adolescent clinical services
• Adolescent non-clinical programs and services
• Asthma treatment and management*
• Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD and ADD)*
• Child health and disability prevention exams (CHDP)
• Childhood obesity screening, prevention and management
• Chronic Care (example: asthma)
• Dental care*
• Hearing and vision screenings
• Immunizations
• School and sports physicals
• Teen wellness clinic* with peer providers in a teen-friendly environment
• Well-Child and sick-child exams
