Parent-Child Resource Center

Project Summary

The Parent-Child Resource Center (PCRC) is an extension of Project Sombrilla, located at our San Marcos Health Center. Staff are available to connect patients and other community members with available resources. Parents and children ages 0-5 are encouraged to participate in classes and workshops offered at the Center. Class topics include:

• Car Seat Safety
• Financial Literacy
• Music & Movement
• Baby Yoga
• Puppet Show Stories
• Creativity Classes

All classes are geared toward enhancing the emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth of children ages 0-5. Services are free and classes are taught in both English and Spanish. The PCRC offers a unique atmosphere that is warm, comfortable and inviting. We welcome visitors and encourage anyone to stop in and view our beautiful mural or observe a class in action!
