Free Services for Children Age 0-5 in San Diego County

Parent Education - General parenting classes with valuable information for parents of infants,
toddlers and preschoolers. Learn how to promote your child’s development and help her to be
ready to learn. Includes developmental screening for all children.

Developmental Services - Concerned about how your child is growing and developing?Developmental check ups and individual child services from experts in the areas of speech,occupational and physical therapy are available in addition to classes.

Behavioral Services - Concerned about your child’s behavior? Behavior classes, parent coaching andindividual child therapy are available. Services are also offered to your child’s daycare or preschool provider if your child is experiencing challenging behavior in these settings.

Vision and Hearing Screening - Includes screening and referral to your child’s doctor foradditional services as needed.

Parent Support - Resources, education and support for families with children who have specialneeds.

Care Coordination - Providing assistance to all families receiving Healthy Development Servicesand referrals to valuable community resources.
