
HIV Outreach and Community Education
HIV/AIDS community outreach is performed through health fairs, screenings and testing at specific locations and community events. HIV/AIDS education is also performed for individuals and groups seeking knowledge of the disease. A variety of guest speakers from medical doctors, nutritionists, pharmacists and individuals living with HIV/ AIDS cover topics of special interest. Example of these topics include HIV and stigma, treatment, nutrition and trial drugs.
Target Audience
Anyone seeking knowledge on HIV/AIDS. You do not have to be positive to seek out information.
