NCHS was incorporated as a private non-profit health care organization in 1973. The mission of North County Health Services is to improve the health status of our diverse communities by providing quality healthcare that is comprehensive, affordable and culturally sensitive. In 2011, NCHS saw:

    77-Staff clinicians.  In addition to physicians, a team of certified nurse midwives, nurse 
    practicioners and physician assistants are employed.

    100%-All NCHS physicians are board-certified/eligible.

    11%-Of the $44.7 million annual budget comes from health education and outreach grants; 
    8% from self-paying patient fees; 6% comes from private insurance; 2% comes from 
    miscellaneous income; 52% from government insurance and the remaining 17% comes from
    patient service programs and grants.
