Matthew Kosel comes to NCHS as a Certified Physician Assistant. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the State University of New York and a Masters of Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from The A.T Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Matthew is NCCPA Certified and also holds a license from The Physician Assistant Committee of California. He belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.

Prior to working at NCHS Matthew spent almost 5 years working at a community health center in California's Central Valley. He states that his time there was invaluable, as it taught him the value of treating the whole person and the importance of preventative healthcare. Matthew enjoys seeing people of all ages and has experience in family/preventative medicine, travel medicine, orthopedic care, and in-office procedures.

During Matthew's spare time he enjoys backcountry camping/hiking, traveling to other countries, swimming, jogging, home improvement projects and working with computers.
